a) Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, recognized by the State Governments of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh in the Year 2022.
b) Candidates whose age is above 18 years as on 31.12.2022, (21 years in case of students under the SC/ ST categories) are not eligible to apply.
c) International students having Indian Citizenship / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Basara IIIT Admissions Notification 2022-2023
The notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program - 2022-23 In Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is released on 30.06.2022 at Conference Hall. RGUKT Basar.
Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2022-23) will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject and by the statutory reservations of the State. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2022-23 under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the 10th class GPA of those applicants who studied in non-residential Govemment Schools including the Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools and the Model Schools with an objective of providing weightage to the socio-economically challenged students in the admission process.
At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be Un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. The 6-Year Integrated Engineering Course is divided into two categories:
a) Pre University Course (2 years): M.P.C course will be offered with following subjects:
a. Mathematics b. Physics
c. Chemistry d. English
e. Telugu / Sanskrit (Sanskrit will be offered for non Telugu students those who have not studied second language as Telugu)
f. Information Technology g. Environmental Science
b) B.Tech (4 years): Following Engineering streams are offered

1. Admissions will be based on merit in the 10th class Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject, and by following the statutory reservations of the State. 2. Students belonging to States other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students are eligible for admission in supernumerary seats.

Admission:
a) Admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated Engineering Programme in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application form against the original certificates / documents submitted by the candidate at the time of counseling.. Mere selection for counseling and verification of certificates / documents will not guarantee a admission / seat.
b) Allotment of seat is based on data provided by the applicants and upon the verification of documents/certificates.
c) Convener, UG Admissions-2022 has every right to cancel admission if any discrepancies are found during the procedure of certificate verifications and data submitted by the applicant.
Annual Fee:
a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in the schools of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.500/- examination fee per semester).
b) Students who are eligible for fee-reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee (as per the latest Govt. rules eligible for the fee-reimbursement).
c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), Exam fee of Rs 1,000/- and medical insurance of Rs. 500/- approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.4,500/- (Rs 4,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
TS RGUKT IIIT Basara admissions 2022-2023 Selection Method:
a) Admissions will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class, and by following the statutory reservations of the and as per the provisions of Presidential Order, 1974. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3), shall be added to the normalized score of applicants from non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools for selection, with an objective of providing weightage to help the students from socially, economically deprived sections of the society for admissions.
Note: As specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014, 15% of the total seats shall be reserved for both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students and selection to these 15% seats shall be done on merit basis.
b) In case of a tie in score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
(i) higher grade in Mathematics,
(ii) higher grade in General Science, (iii) higher grade in English,
(iv) higher grade in Social Studies, (v) higher grade in 1st Language,
(vi) older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
(vii) lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.

- Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. The tuition fee for the Global Category is Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
- 2%supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students.The tuition fee is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum.
- Note: Unfilled seats of Global Category (supernumerary) will be allocated to the local candidates (only for the TS) based on merit in TS POLYCET 2022 by paying Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
The Candidates of Telangana State who wish to apply for the Unfilled seats of Global category, their application will also be considered in the General category of admissions.
