 ADMISSIONS – Filling up of left over seats in various PG Non-Professional courses by the Principals of the colleges for the academic year 2018-2018 – Permission — Reg.

Ref: Note submitted by the Director, Directorate of Admissions, KU.

The Vice-Chancellor in pursuance of the provisions has accorded permission to all the Government (Aidekl/ Unaided) & Private affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya and Satavahana Universities offering various Post-Graduate courses to fill up the left over seats with the KUPGCET-2018 qualified candidates through final phase counseling at their colleges duly observing the following guidelines. This admission process is tenable for the academic year 2018-2018.

01. The last date for the filling of vacant seats is 23rd September, 2018. Under any circumstances the date shall not be extended.

02. The college should notify the vacant seats available under Open/Reservation Categories after getting them verified from the Office of the Directorate of Admissions duly obtaining the approval .

03. Minimum cut-off marks prescribed for OC and BC candidates is 30. However, there is no minimum cut-off marks for SC & ST candidates.

04. The admission shall be given based on merit-cum-reservation duly following the eligibility criteria prescribed for each discipline, subject to availability of left over seats.

05. The fee fixed by the University should only be collected in cash from the admitted candidates and a cash receipt must issue.

06. The College should prepare the list of admitted candidates and send it to the Directorate of Admissions KU.

07. The List of admitted candidates, Fee prescribed in cash along with one set of Xerox copies of Certificates must be submitted and got ratified by the Director of Admissions, KU latest by 28th September. 2018.

08. Those candidates who got admitted in the first and second phase of counseling and reported at the college concerned, are not eligible. Non- compliance of the above guidelines will be viewed seriously and admissions made in deviation of the above shall not be approved.

Notification for second & final phase of web counselling for admission in to PG/PG Diploma and 5year Integrated Courses  Offered Under Kakatiya University, Warangal  and Satavahana University, Karimnagar
The qualified and eligible Candidates and those who were not attended for certificate verification of KUPGCET-2018 are informed to attend Second & Final Phase of Web Counseling with all original certificates and a set of Xerox copy for admission into PG/PG Diploma Courses and 5 Year Integrated Courses for the academic year 2018-2018 on 30th August, 2018.

Candidates who have already attended for Certificate Verification in First Phase can directly exercise web options for second phase of Counseling. Those who wish to change college can also attend for exercising web options. The Sliding fee will be Rs.200/-

Who should participate in second & final phase?
 a. Who secure a seat in first phase of web based counseling and wish to move to some other college.
 b. Candidate who participated in first phase of web based counseling and could not secure a seat.
 c. Candidate who could not participate in first phase of counseling.
 d. Candidate who were allotted a seat but didn’t pay the fee / report to the college allotted.
