Northeast Frontier Railway Invites Applications For 4,499 Apprentice Posts. NFR will recruit candidates for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply online for the post through the official site of Northeast Frontier Railway on nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has published the recruitment notification for  4499 Apprentice Act. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates. Northeast Frontier Railway has Five Divisions namely, Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar & Katihar & at field level these Divisions are directly responsible for Train operations and reports to General Manager. Each of these Divisions is headed by Divisional Railway Manager, a Senior Administrative Grade officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to Government of India.

Northeast Frontier Railway, NFR has invited applications from candidates to apply for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the post through the official site of Northeast Frontier Railway on nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. T A total of 4499 apprentice will be hired at various units of NF Railway such as Katihar (KIR)& TDH workshop, Alipurduar (APDJ), Rangiya (RNY), Lumding (LMG)& S&T/workshop, Tinsukia (TSK), NewBongaigaon Workshop (NBQS) &EWS/BNGN and Dibrugarh Workshop (DBWS). Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Age Limit
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit: 
The age limit of the candidate should be between 15 years of age to 24 years of age as on 01.01.2020. ( Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates. For persons with Disability, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years)

Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment 2020: Selection Process
The selection process would be done on the basis of the merit list prepared. The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. Candidates can check for more related details through the official site of NFR.

A final merit list will be prepared unit wise, trade wise and community wise, equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate, as stated above. Shortlisted candidates, thus enlisted in respective units, will be called for document verification to the extent of 1:5 times of the notified vacancies.

Candidates have to submit the application online.
Candidates are required to apply ONLINE on www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. During submission of ONLINE application, a Registration number will be issued to each applicant. Candidates are advised to preserve/note their Registration Number for further stages of engagement process/correspondence with RRC.
