As per NCERT guidelines every indivisual that who wants to become a teacher all over India has get Eligibility or has to appear Eligibility Test and get qualified to work as a teacher in any school all over the India. Applying same rule in AP and Telangana conducting teachers Eligibility Test TET for AP and Telangana Separately. Central TET also conducted by CBSE to get eligibility to work in Kendriy Vidyalayas Navodayas and other central Schools. In the Same way Andhra Pradesh is going to Conduct AP TET for the first Time after separation from Telangana Hyderabad. Aspirants are eagerly waiting for the Notification.

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) was postponed.

Human Resources Development Minister Bhagha Srinivasa Rao said the test was to be held online from January 17 to 27. The test will be held from February 5 to 15. He said the test was postponed to the student’s request for less time. TET deferred effect on DSC management According to the new schedule, the adoption of applications and changes in the date of issuance of e-ticket.

Eligibility Criteria:
 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES FOR APPEARING AP-TET:
The candidates at the time of applying for AP-TET should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications prescribed for category of I to V classes (Paper- I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper – II) separately.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP – TET PAPER – I (CLASSES I TO V):
a) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

b) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
(B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP-TET PAPER – II (CLASSES VI TO VIII):
a) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

b) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.

d) Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
Note:- 1. The candidates, who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (OR) Diploma in Elementary Education etc., are also eligible to appear for TET exam subject to the condition that the candidates cannot appear for DSC with this TET certificate, unless the candidates acquire requisite qualification.
2. A Diploma/ Degree course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
3. Intermediate qualification of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) of Andhra Pradesh State or its equivalent as recognized by BIE, Andhra Pradesh State only shall be considered. So also the Bachelor’s Degree of a University Recognized by UGC only shall be considered.

AP TET 2018 Admit Card
Applicants can download the hall ticket from the official site of APBSE. Admit card is the mandatory document required in the examination, it contains all the details related to the candidate and examination. It contains name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, date& timings of the examination, venue of the examination & instructions to be followed in the examination. Don’t forget to bring the admit card on the date of the examination otherwise the examiner will not permit the candidate to appear for the examination.

Steps to download the Admit Card
Assess the official site i.e. on Andhra Pradesh TET 2018 aptet.cgg.gov.in
Search for the link of Andhra Pradesh TET 2018 Admit card and click on the link.
Enter your registration no., DOB, security pin.
Admit Card will display on the screen.
Take the print out of the Admit Card can keep it safely.

AP TET 2018 Exam Pattern

There are basically two papers: Paper-I is at the Primary teacher level (I-V) and Paper-II is at the Upper Primary Level (VI-VIII).
Only Objective type of questions will be asked.
It contains of 150 questions of 150 marks.
Duration of the question paper would be of 2 ½ hrs.

 APTET Paper- I : No. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – 150
(b) Duration of Examination: 2 hours and 30 minutes:

AP TET 2018 Application Form” :
Application form of Andhra Pradesh TET 2018 will be available from the Dec month 2017 . Applicants were advised to fill their application from prior due dates. Interested candidates who were eligible/ qualified can apply for Andhra Pradesh TET 2018 Application form and submit it on the official portal.  As this Teachers Eligibility Test is organized by the educational board of Andhra Pradesh mainly for the recruitment of candidates who aims at becoming a teacher in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Application fee:
Application fee amounts to Rs-250/- for all the category candidates.
Mode of payment would be via online mode.

Fill the necessary details required in the application form.
Upload the scanned images and documents in the specified format.
