  • Candidates belonging to the General/Unreserved/General-EWS category must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in disciplines such as Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc
  • For candidates belonging to the Backward Classes (BC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category, a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in the Master’s degree or equivalent examination is required to be eligible for the test.
  • The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination has been completed by 19 September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing APSET.

Eligibility Criteria for AP DSC 2024

Applicant must have following eligibility for various posts to appear the exam. To qualify for the AP DSC Recruitment 2024, it’s crucial to understand the AP DSC Eligibility Criteria 2024 outlined in the AP DSC Notification.  Education Qualification:

  • Candidates must have completed Intermediate or Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, BC, or differently-abled applicants).
  • They should possess a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma or a 4-year Elementary Education Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 45% marks in Intermediate or Senior Secondary (or equivalent) is required (40% for SC, ST, BC, or differently-abled candidates), along with a 2-year elementary education diploma or a 4-year elementary education bachelor’s degree.
  • Additionally, candidates must have passed Paper I of either the Andhra Pradesh Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or TSTET Test.
