APSET 2024 Notification

NOTIFICATION  Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET-2024) for the year 2024 will be conducted on 28th April 2024, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.47, Higher Education (CE)Department and Reaccreditation of UGC, New Delhi for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Universities and Degree Colleges as per the U.G.C. Regulations for the year 2024. Eligible Candidates who wish to apply for APSET-2024 may submit their application through online mode. The Registration fee of Rs.1,200/-(for General and EWS Categories) Rs.1000/- (for B.C. category) and Rs.700/-(for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender categories) may be paid through payment gateway (Credit card/Debit card/Net banking). APSET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must be priorly well aware of the minimum education qualification required to get permitted to attempt Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET 2024)

Education Qualification:

• Candidates belonging to the General/Unreserved/General-EWS category must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in disciplines such as Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc
• For candidates belonging to the Backward Classes (BC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category, a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in the Master’s degree or equivalent examination is required to be eligible for the test.
• The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination has been completed by 19 September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing APSET.

Candidate are advised to follow the below steps to apply for Andhra Pradesh  State Eligibility Test 2024 through official website https://apset.net.in/. The apply link for AP SET 2024 will be active from 14 February 2024 to 6 March 2024.

• Visit the official website: Go to https://apset.net.in/
• Read the Notification: Carefully read the official notification available on the website.
• Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification before proceeding.
• Register Online: Click on the “Online Application” link on the website homepage. You will be directed to a new page where you can register by providing your basic details and creating a login ID and password.
• Fill the Application Form: After successful registration, log in using your credentials and start filling the online application form. Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, exam details, and upload required documents like scanned photograph, signature, and caste certificate (if applicable).
• Pay the Application Fee: Select your payment mode and pay the application fee as per your category. The fee details are mentioned in the notification.
• Submit the Application: Once you have reviewed all the information carefully, submit the application form online. Remember, you cannot edit the application form after submission.
• Download and Print Application for future reference.
