Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) – CRP RRBs IXIBPS RRB application form 2020 released – Apply for 9638 vacancies Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS RRB 2020 application form in online mode on July 1 at the official website ibps.in. Eligible candidates can fill the application form till July 21, along with the payment of application fee. The application form has been released to fill a total of 9638 vacancies of Officers Scale I, II & III and Office Assistants. Candidates will be able to print their application form till August 5, 2020. Every year, IBPS conducts IBPS RRB exam for selection of Group ‘A’ & ‘B’ personnel to the selected RRBs. This year, IBPS has released notification for recruitment to 9638 vacancies in RRBs. IBPS has also released the eligibility criteria, exam dates, online application link, vacancies, selection process, examination centres, participating RRBs, pattern & syllabus etc.
About IBPS RRB Exam
IBPS RRB exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates at various Rural Banks at the post of Office Assistant and Officers Scale I, II, and II. The test is held in three stages – prelims, mains and Interview. For the post of Office Assistants and Scale I Officer, the test is held for three stages – prelims, mains, and common interview, while for Scale II and III Officers, the test is held in two stages – Single examination and Common Interview.

Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) – CRP RRBs IX
For the posts of IBPS RRB Officer (Scale I) & Office Assistant (Multipurpose), two levels of examination (prelims & mains) will be held. Both the exams will be objective in nature. Prelims exam would be held in September/October 2020 & the mains exam would be held in October/November 2020. For the posts IBPS RRB Officer (Scale II & III), single level examination would be conducted on October/November 2020.
These examinations will be held in Online mode. After the Selection process through online mode, direct interview would be conducted for final selection. Candidates who qualify in the recruitment exam will be posted across 43 participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the specified eligibility criteria before applying for the CRP: Candidates may please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Regional Rural Banks. However merely applying for, qualifying in the CRP and getting provisionally allotted in one of the RRBs does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in any of the Regional Rural Banks. It is expressly clarified that the ultimate authority for recruitment is the Regional Rural Bank itself. The RRB concerned may, in its sole discretion, reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CRP.

IBPS RRB Age Limit as on July 1, 2020
Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) – 18 to 30 years of age
Officer Scale- II (Manager) – 21 to 32 years of age
Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) – 21 to 40 years of age

How to fill IBPS RRB Application Form
Here are some easy steps through which candidates will be able to fill the application form:
- Visit the official website of IBPS – ibps.in
- Click on the IBPS RRB application form link
- The link will take you to the IBPS RRB page
- Select the application form link for the desired post
- Click on new registration
- The screen then displays a login window
- Enter all the required basic details and submit
- A provisional registration number and password will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
- Login again using the same credential and proceed to fill the application form.
IBPS RRB Application Fee
This year, the authorities have increased the application fee of IBPS RRB for both general and reserved categories. Now, candidates belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay Rs 850 while the SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs 175. Earlier, candidates had to pay Rs 600 for general and OBC while Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD category. The fee has to be paid in online mode till July 21.
