CTET Admit Card

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started inviting online application for conduct of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in  and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in.

CTET 2024 Exam date : CTET 2024 to be conducted on 21st January :

CTET 2024 Exam Date announced on ctet.nic.in, to be conducted on January 21 – CTET Exam schedule. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has announced the CTET 2024 exam date. As per the official notification released on the website, CTET 2024 would be conducted on January 21, 2024. The official notification of the revised exam date is available on the website ctet.nic.in. Candidates can check the same on the official website as well. Complete schedule is provided. CTET 2024 online application forms closed on August . Candidates to please note that the eligibility criteria for CTET 2024 was recently revised as well to include B.Ed candidates for Paper I as well. The candidates who have not filled the CTET 2024 paper II and not filled the Paper I preference due to eligibility constraint can now do so during the correction window. The time schedule for the CTET 2024 examination was released earlier. The same is also attached below.
Candidates to kindly note that both the sessions would be conducted on Sunday, January 21, 2024. The exam date for CTET 2024 is January 21.

Also, as CBSE has modified the eligibility criteria, as per which, B.Ed candidates will now be eligible to apply for Paper-I as well (read both papers), interested candidates can make the changes once the Online Correction Process window is made available from 6th to 15th September 2024. CTET 2024 examination comprises of two papers viz Paper-II – 9:30am to 12pm (Classes VI to VIII) and Paper-I – 2pm to 4:30pm (Classes I to V). A candidate needs minimum 60% to become CTET Qualified and the certificate is valid for a period of seven years. CTET 2024 qualified candidates become eligible to apply for teacher recruitment as and when it happens for Class I to VIII in schools that come under the purview of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi

CTET eligibility is mandatory for candidates aspiring for central school teaching jobs as well as jobs with JNV or KVs. Some states also accept CTET in terms of the mandatory TET qualifier for teachings jobs at state level institutes.

The candidates may download Admit Card from CTET official website and appear for the examination at the given Centre. In case of any discrepancy noticed in admit card regarding particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information vary from confirmation page, he/she may immediately contact CTET unit for necessary corrections.

In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Assistant Secretary (Exam.), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 10 days beofre the commencement of CTET Exam along with CTET – 2024 proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E-Challan or copy of bank statement, if payment made through Credit/Debit Card for considering his/her candidature for CTET – 2024 examination.

The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate report at the examination centre after 9:30 AM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper II and candidate report after 2:00 PM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper I.

The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
