Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has given a notification for conducting the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2024). Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test conducted by the Osmania University once in a year. TS ECET is a state level entrance exam conducted for the candidates who want admission in lateral entry for diploma holders in various UG engineering & B.Sc. (Mathematics) courses. Interested candidates will get admission into various affiliated private or government colleges or institutions in Telangana. Only eligible candidates will be able to fill out the application form through online mode. TS ECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification: Diploma degree candidates in technology/ engineering/ pharmacy from the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh state board will be able to apply. 3 year B.Sc Degree with mathematics subject are also eligible to apply.
Nationality: Applying candidates must be Citizen of India and belong to Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh state.
Marks: Applicants must have at least 45% marks (40% marks for the ST/SC category) in the qualifying exam.
Appearing: The appearing candidates in final year will also be able to apply for the TS ECET 2024 exam.

TS ECET 2024 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online CBT mode only.
- Duration: Total 3 hours will be given to solve the paper.
- Total Marks: The exam will consist of total 200 marks.
- Type of Questions: The Multiple- choice type questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
- Medium: In English language, the exam will be held.
- Shift: Total two shifts will be there morning and afternoon.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the exam.
