The Telangana government has extended the deadline to complete ration card e-KYC. The e-KYC process has been ongoing for the past two months at ration shops across Telangana State. Devendra Singh Chouhan, Commissioner of Civil Supplies, issued an order extending the deadline for ration card e-KYC in Telangana until February 29, 2024.This decision provides relief to those who have not yet completed the process of ration card e-KYC in Hyderabad and other districts of the state.

Ration Card e-KYC : తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం రేషన్ కార్డుదారులకు అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. జనవరి 31వ తేదీ లోపు ఈ-కేవైసీ పూర్తి చేయాలని సూచించింది. ఈ మేరకు తెలంగాణ పౌరసరఫరాలశాఖ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ఇప్పటికే ఈ ప్రక్రియ మొదలు కాగా, గత రెండు నెలలుగా రేషన్ షాపుల్లో డీలర్లు ఈకేవైసీ అప్డేట్ చేస్తున్నారు. కేవైసీ అప్డేట్ కోసం ఆధార్‌ ధ్రువీకరణ, వేలిముద్రలను సేకరిస్తున్నారు. రేషన్ కార్డుకు ఆధార్ లింక్ చేయకపోతే వెంటనే పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. ఈ-కేవైసీ పూర్తి చేయకపోతే రేషన్ సరుకులు ఇవ్వరని సివిల్ సప్లై అధికారులు స్పష్టం చేశారు. కాబట్టి రేషన్ లబ్దిదారులు జనవరి 31వ తేదీ లోగా రేషన్ కార్డు, ఆధార్ నంబర్ కు లింక్ చేయాలని పౌరసరఫరాల శాఖ కమిషనర్‌ దేవేందర్‌ సింగ్‌ చౌహాన్‌  పేర్కొన్నారు.ఈ-కేవైసీ గడువును కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పొడిగించింది. ప్రస్తుత గడువు జనవరి 31తో ముగియనుంది. అనేక రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఈ ప్రక్రియ మొత్తం పూర్తికాలేదు.

రేషన్‌ కార్డులను ఆధార్‌ సంఖ్యతో అనుసంధానించే గడువును ఫిబ్రవరి నెలాఖరు వరకు కేంద్రం పెంచింది. తెలంగాణలో రేషన్‌ కార్డుల ఈ-కేవైసీ 75.76 శాతం పూర్తయింది. ఫిబ్రవరి నెలాఖరుకల్లా 100 శాతం పూర్తి చేయాలని పౌర సరఫరాలశాఖ కమిషనర్‌ డీఎస్‌ చౌహాన్‌ అన్ని జిల్లాల అదనపు కలెక్టర్లు, హైదరాబాద్‌ చీఫ్‌ రేషనింగ్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌ను ఆదేశించారు

  • Green Light Approval: A green light means your KYC update is successful.
  • Red Light Rejection: A red light indicates a mismatch between your ration card and Aadhaar card. In this case, one unit will be removed from the ration card.
  • Update Together: Regardless of how many names are on the ration card, everyone should go to the ration shop for KYC updates simultaneously.
  • Avoid Unit Elimination: If some family members don’t go for KYC, they will be considered separated units. The details of those units not in the process will be entered, leading to their removal from the ration card.

New ration cards in Telangana :

Meanwhile, applications for new ration cards in the state are being accepted along with Praja Palana forms at designated centers.

There is no separate form for the new ration cards. The applications can be submitted by writing the details on plain paper.

Earlier, there were rumors that income certificates were needed for the new ration cards. However, later it was clarified that there is no such requirement.

Those who have ration cards need to complete e-KYC, whereas new application forms can be submitted at Praja Palana centers in Telangana.

NHAI introduces ‘One Vehicle, One FASTag’ initiative to enhance toll collection efficiency. FASTag users urged to complete KYC process by February 29 to prevent deactivation or blacklisting. Recharge FASTag with any bank using various payment methods.  The state-owned National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) on Monday announced that it will deactivate or blacklist FASTags with incomplete Know Your Customer (KYC) after February 29, even if they have a valid balance. According to the NHAI, the step is being taken to further streamline and authenticate the new and improved toll collection system across India.

Fastag KYC Update Online | Fastag KYC Status Check 

The “One Vehicle, One FASTag” initiative is all set to get launched by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The initiative will be making the Electronic Toll Collection system work efficiently. The initiative will also be easing the traffic at toll plazas.

The aim of the initiative is to discourage the use of one FASTag for a variety of vehicles. The NHAI encourages the FASTag users to finish their KYC process according to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.

How can you check your FASTag status online?

  • Click on ‘Login’ and provide mobile number and password details
  • An OTP will be generated and sent as a text message. Add the OTP and login
  • Click on the ‘My Profile’ tab and select the KYC status option

According to the guidelines of the RBI, the FASTag KYC requires you to make use of any of the following documents.

  • Valid passport
  • Driving license
  • Voter’s ID
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN)
  • Aadhaar
  • Job card issued by the NREGA and signed by an official of the State Government
  • Along with the KYC documents, you also need to submit your vehicle’s registration certificate (RC) copy.

  • Click on the ‘My Profile’ section and open the ‘KYC’ tab
  • Add in the required details, including your identity and address proof documents
  • Upload a passport-size photo
  • Click on ‘confirm the declaration’ then click ‘submit’
  • The KYC process will take a maximum of seven working days to be updated
  • Apart from this, FASTag users have the provision of reaching out to the nearest toll plazas or toll-free customer care numbers of their respective issuer banks in case they have any confusion regarding the KYC updates.

How to Update FASTag KYC details offline?

In order to update your FASTag KYC details, one needs to request the FASTag issuing bank for the same. This can be done by visiting the nearest FASTag issuing bank branch. At the bank branch, one needs to fill out the application form with updated details. This new data will then be updated by the bank to the FASTag account.
The relationship manager can also help with updating the KYC in FASTag.

It is important for FASTag users to make sure that their KYC is completed for their most recent FASTag. It is important that the users abide by the One Vehicle, One FASTag directions. Note that only the latest FASTag accounts are going to remain active.

IMPORTANT NOTE: FASTags having sufficient balance but unfinished KYC are going to get blacklisted or deactivated by the banks after February 29.

TS EAPCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Aspirant must belong to the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh to apply.
  • The Indian Nationality or persons of Indian Origin (PIO) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders will be eligible to apply.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
1) Pattern of Examination will be as per G.O. Ms. No. 55 General Administration (Ser.A) Department, Dt. 25/04/2022.
2) The Selection of Candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by Written Examination (Objective Type) by CBRT/ OMR Based and the Selection for the posts will be based on marks secured in the written examination.
3) Those candidates who qualify in the Written Examination in order of merit will be called for verification of Certificates, Community and Category wise for the vacancies available as required. The qualifying marks for selection of the candidates belonging to: OC, Ex-Service men, Sports men & EWS – not less than 40%, BCs – not less than 35% SCs, STs and PH –not less than 30%.
N.B.: Mere securing minimum qualifying marks does not vest any right in a candidate for being considered for selection
4) In the event of SC and ST candidates not coming up for selection with the minimum marks prescribed above for selection, their selection shall be considered on the basis of marks with reference to their performance in the written examination irrespective of the marks secured.
5) The appearance in all the paper/papers at the Written Examination is compulsory. Absence in any of the paper/papers will automatically render his/her candidature for disqualification.
6) Candidates have to produce Original documents and other particulars on the day of verification itself. If candidate fails to produce any of the required original certificates and if the particulars furnished by him / her in the Application do not tally with the Original documents produced him / her, then his / her candidature will be rejected/disqualified without any further correspondence. Those candidates who are called for verification of certificates should furnish their order of preference of Multi-Zones, Subjects by exercising Web-Options and submit at the time of verification of certificates, which are final, failing which his/her candidature shall not be considered for further selection process. The selections will be confined only to the web options exercised by the candidates. Under no circumstances he/she will be considered for the posts /places where preference was not indicated.
7) The candidates will be selected and allotted to Multi-Zone as per their merit and order of Preference (web-options) against the vacancies available.
8) The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate Medical Examination, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits free from any bodily defect or infirmity.

How to Apply TS EMRS CET 2024

  1. Registration forms can be filled through online only.
  2. Even if EMRS is not available in the student’s district, student can apply to study in the nearest EMRS. 30 percent of the seats in each EMRS are allotted to local district candidates on the basis of merit. If MoTA Issues 2024-25 admissions Guidelines ,the same will be applied.
  3. The registration fee Rs.100 (One Hundred Only) to be paid by each and every candidate, who wants to apply for the selection Test.
  4. Mere payment of fee is not sufficient to submit the application form. After successful completion of online payment of fee Rs.100/-, every candidate has to completely fill in online application without fail.
  5. The incomplete application forms shall be normally rejected.
  6. It is compulsory that, the candidate selects the order of preference of school. So that allotment will be made accordingly as per merit and school option.
  7. Candidates are advised to take printout of acknowledgment form  immediately after applying.
