PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Eligibility
Age: The minimum age for application is 18 years, with no upper age limit.
Occupation: Eligible occupations include carpenters, blacksmiths, weavers, potters, sculptors, and other traditional artisans.
Community: Applicants should belong to the Vishwakarma community.
Income: The family’s annual income should be below a specific threshold, which may vary based on the applicant’s category, such as general, SC/ST, or OBC.
Citizenship: Applicants must be domiciles of India.
Family Limit: Only one member of a family can avail the benefits of the scheme, including the husband, wife, and unmarried children living in the family.

Firstly, beneficiaries will receive affordable credit of up to 3 lakh rupees at a 5% annual interest rate for a duration of 4 years under the scheme.
Additionally, the ministry will provide a 15-day skill enhancement training program to aid your progress. They will also provide a stipend during the skill training.
You will receive a toolkit incentive of 15,000 rupees, which can be used to upgrade your tools and equipment.
Moreover, you will be given marketing training with appropriate channels, enabling you to sell your products effectively.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Features
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana offers a range of unique features specifically designed for skilled craftsmen and tradespeople, which are as follows:
Scope and Coverage
The initiative includes a total of 18 traditional trades in both rural and remote regions. These trades range from carpentry, boat-making, and blacksmithing to pottery, sculpture, cobbling, tailoring, and many others.
Recognition and Support
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a PM Vishwakarma certificate and an identity card. As part of their eligibility, participants can avail a collateral-free credit guide, with a maximum limit of ₹1 lakh for the first time and ₹2 lakh for the second time. The interest rate for both instances is set at a concessional rate of 5%.
Skill Development and Empowerment
With a budget of ₹13,000 to ₹15,000 crore over 5 years (2023-2028), the scheme offers a ₹500 stipend for skill training and ₹1,500 for contemporary tool purchases.
Integration with Value Chains
The primary goal of this program is to effectively integrate artisans into both domestic and global value chains, thereby improving their access to the market and opportunities for growth.

Artisans have the opportunity to register at service centers in the village, with financial support from the government and assistance from local authorities.
